Unreleased

2026-11-05

  • Back Bar is now Shelf & Shaker: your home bar, made useful. A new look in gold and midnight, with a new logo and icons
  • Cocktails is now Recipes, and My Bar is now My Shelf
  • Home opens with Make More of What's on Your Shelf and four ways in: My Shelf, Make a Drink, Discover and Shopping List. On a phone: a greeting, your Up Next drink, then New This Week, Your Shelf, Discover and Favorites

2026-11-01

  • Drinks is now Cocktails, and Bar is now My Bar
  • Home opens with Find a drink: pick from what you can pour now, or open a random favorite or something new. Party buttons moved to the Parties card at the side
  • Done with setup? Tap Finished to hide the checklist

2026-10-26

  • Bartender: each ticket shows who asked for it. Tap Making it so they know it's coming, then Made it
  • Changed your mind? Switch your drink from the party's Drinks tab and keep your place in line, until the bartender starts making it
  • Suggest a drink the book is missing, from Drinks or Me. We check each one before it goes in
  • Fixed: signing in on a first visit could show CSRF verification failed even though it worked

2026-10-25

  • A cleaner layout: Home · Drinks · Party · Bar · Me. Home shows what's in season, what to make tonight and what to buy next; setup steps aside once it's done
  • Drinks: filters that combine (ready, one bottle away, favorites, an ingredient, a spirit), 25 or 50 to a page, several columns on wide screens. During a party, + adds a drink to its queue
  • Bar is for your bars, shelves and tools; Me holds everything else (the small account menu is gone)
  • Parties: start one now with a printable QR, or plan one with a date, time and place and invite people by email to RSVP. One party is active at a time
  • Owners choose ounces or millilitres for everyone in Me → Account settings
  • Help & guides puts How to use, Bar essentials and the tour in one place
  • Terms and Privacy pages, linked at the bottom of every page
  • Owners can delete an account, and anyone can delete their login from Me
  • Owner replaces Host (Owner). Only owners can add hosts or more owners
  • A tour of the bar page, once for owners, hosts and guests; take it again from Me → Help & guides
  • Tap the bottles I have: pick from two dozen common bottles and watch the drink count grow, then see what you can make tonight
  • Specials: drink menus our bartenders put together, like Holiday Specials, on the bar and party pages. They replace In season
  • Best next bottle leads with one bottle: Add Amaretto → unlock 6 more drinks
  • Drinks lists every drink A to Z, and search suggests names as you type (on the bar page too)
  • A one-time 21 or older? check; under 21, you see the mocktails
  • How to use and Bar essentials are buttons now, and status text on drink rows is easier to read
  • The home-screen reminder waits for your second visit

2026-10-20

  • Try This! next to your Ready count picks a drink you can make right now; Try another picks again

2026-10-17

  • A support button at the bottom right when you're signed in: send us a question or a bug, with an annotated screenshot
  • A tab bar on every page: Bar · Drinks · Party · Me. Party jumps straight to tonight's party
  • While a party is on, the bar page says so, and ready drinks can be ordered from their card
  • Four filters up front; the rest are under Refine
  • Simpler bartending: the next drink is open and ready, tap an ingredient when it runs out, and a little Cheers! when it's made
  • Guests see their place in the queue update by itself

2026-10-16

  • Hosts and guests: members are now Hosts, and an account can have several *Host (Owner)*s who share billing
  • A Glossary in the help
  • Bar tools: track the tools each bar has; recipes tick the ones you've got
  • In season: drinks for the time of year at the top of the list
  • Parties: a printable QR code that signs guests up and drops them into the party; order drinks from what's pouring; a Bartender queue anyone can run, with Used up for ingredients that run out; sign up to bring bottles and tools
  • Drink photos now load from our own media server
  • Shopping list for hosts: what to buy, by favorites or by most new drinks
  • Getting started checklist for new accounts: name it, stock the shelf, add tools, invite a host, plan a party, install the app
  • A one-time reminder to add the app to your phone's home screen
  • My drinks: a free page for everyone, guests included, with search, favorites and what you've made. Signing up no longer starts a bar; tap Create my bar when you want one
  • The price for new accounts is $24.99 a year
